VISION 

Soul Care Family Life Center, Inc  (SCFLC) seeks to strengthen the “family unit” by providing Christian Mental Health Counseling Services- Strong Families Create Strong Societies.

 

MISSION

Soul Care Family Life Center, Inc will identify the strengths of each "family unit" and assist them in minimizing their challenges and threats to meet the families' quality of life stressor (s) impacting the mental wellness of the family as defined from a Christian perspective.

 

CASE MANAGEMENT

A "Family Restoration Plan" will be provided for each family to include goal setting and goal attainment,  a compatible care team and continuum of care maintenance support.

As a part of the Plan's- "continuum of care", families will be encouraged to incorporate a Christian church, from our listing along with other Community Resources, into their support network . Initially, Christian family counseling will be restricted to the Carolinas since licensure for our counselors/ therapists are in this state.

 

CHRISTIAN COUNSELING PROGRAM INITIATIVES

 

• Good Shepherd's Corner (Pastoral Care)

 

We are pleased to offer pastoral counseling to our family members including pastors and clergy in various forums: "Diamonds and Pearls" (current) - women's support group; Men's Support forum; Minister's Support Forum; Caregivers' Support Forum; Marriage and Relationship Counseling (2021) and Couples' Pastoral Counseling (2021).

 

• Family Mental Health Counseling

The charity provides a sociological approach "group dynamics" with therapeutic psychological interventions through holistic counseling from a Christian perspective to any family in need of mental health care service and support.

We are also seeking volunteers - licensed therapists, facilitators and pastors from different Christian denominations to serve as Christian Scholars in the Advisory Network.​
