Christian Counseling Program Initiatives
Good Shepherd's Corner (Pastoral Care)
We are pleased to offer pastoral counseling to our family members including pastors and clergy in various forums: "Diamonds and Pearls" (current) - women's support group; Men's Support forum; Minister's Support Forum; Caregivers' Support Forum; Marriage and Relationship Counseling (2021) and Couples' Pastoral Counseling (2021).
Family Mental Health Counseling
The Charity uses a sociological approach based on subcultural attributes such as beliefs, values, traditions, and group dynamics form the basis for psychological interventions (therapeutic counseling) to help with the decision-making process affecting the "family unit" or "whole family" conceptually.
Our Christian perspective for "family unit" mental health maintenance embodies the mind, body and soul (holistic). Therapeutic Christian counseling evokes the holy spirit in counseling for the "family’s unit".
The "family unit's " quality of life measures for mental healthcare are defined as wealth, employment, environment, education, physical and mental health, recreation & leisure time, social belonging, religious beliefs, safety, security, and freedom.

Case Management
Support Services
A "Family Restoration Plan" will be provided for each family to include goal setting and goal attainment, a compatible care team and continuum of care maintenance support.
Providing Families with helpful community resources and advocacy to empower individuals and families in need. Support Services are tailored to meet the needs of the family unit.
Continuum of Care
Christian Congregation Development and Project Management for Physical Church Development
As a part of the Plan's "continuum of care", families will be encouraged to incorporate a Christian church, from our directory along with other Community Resources, into their support network. Initially, Christian family counseling will be restricted to the Carolinas since licensure for our counselors and therapists are in this state.
Community Partnerships
We believe in the power of collaboration to bring healing and hope. Through our Community Partnerships, Soul Care Family Life Center works with local churches, nonprofits, an organizations to provide family-centered care, counseling, and outreach services. Together, we can make a greater impact in the lives of individuals and families in need.

Working with Soul Care Family Life Center’s Pastoral Care (Good Shephard’s Corner) has been truly a blessing and has enriched our preparation to become a married couple. We have been able to dive into deep and meaningful conversations, learn more about ourselves and the future we want to build together. Our counselor has been monumental in guiding us on our journey as he is a licensed therapist and ordained pastor, who aligns with our core value of having God at the center of everything we do. We can honestly say this organization has provided us with excellent professional service and communication which is rare to find. We thank God for connecting us to this Christ centered ministry and we hope other couples can experience this as well.
